Chief Engineer WTIV Voltaire at Jan De Nul Group

Arendo de Ridder has a significant amount of work experience in the maritime industry. Arendo started their career in 1991 with Spliethoff / Mammoet / Big Lift, where they worked as a Motorman, 3rd Engineer, 2nd Engineer, and eventually Chief Engineer on various MVs until 2001. Arendo then joined Heerema Marine Contractors, where they held several roles, including Assistant Chief Engineer, Engineer, and Chief Engineer on different vessels from 2001 to 2019. Arendo later joined Jan De Nul Group in 2019, working as an Engineer on Vole au Vent and Chief Engineer on the WTIV Voltaire.

Arendo de Ridder attended Maritien Instituut De Ruyter Vlissingen from 1989 to 1993. During this time, they pursued a field of study in Scheepswerktuigkundige, but did not obtain a specific degree.
