Douglas Maxwell

Douglas B. Maxwell, PhD, currently serves as Vice President - Strategic Solutions at JANUS Research Group, leading a team focused on data analysis, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Extended Reality. With extensive experience, Maxwell held previous roles including Chief Engineer at Invictus International Consulting, LLC, and Architect/Science Advisor in the Army Futures Command and Synthetic Training Environment at JANUS. Past positions also include Senior Research Engineer at Aptima, Science and Technology Manager for the US Army, and Research Engineer at both the Naval Undersea Warfare Center and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. Maxwell holds a PhD and an MS in Engineering with a specialty in Modeling and Simulation, along with additional degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
