Cathy Cawood

Cathy Cawood has been working in the field of education since 2003. Cathy began their career as an English Instructor at Nova Corp. Cathy then moved on to become an English Teacher at Universal Campus Fushimi in 2006. In 2009, they took on the role of English Teacher at Kinugasa Nursery School & Kindergarten. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Koganezuka Eikoh Nursery School, where they interacted with 6 month - two year olds in the nursery, and gave fun 20-30 minute "lessons" to 5 different levels, from nursery to six year olds. Cathy also gave 30 minute lessons to four levels of elementary school children after school. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an English Teacher at Manabiya Karasuma. During this same period, they also took on the role of Content Partner for Yamanashi Prefecture at Japan Travel K.K., where they created photo stories, articles and videos for the website, and checked and edited articles by other contributors. In 2015, they began working as an English Teacher at Roots International.

Cathy Cawood attended Burnside High School, Christchurch, New Zealand from 1973 to 1977. Cathy then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics & Language Teaching at The University of Auckland from 2000 to 2003.
