Vikas Johiya

Vikas Johiya has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Starting in 2010, they completed their graduation project at Oce. Vikas then worked as a design fellow at Venture Studio from October 2011 to April 2012. In 2012, they served as a visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where they focused on introducing engineering students to the design process. From 2011 to 2013, Vikas was a co-founder of Cresque, a venture they worked on alongside their other roles. Vikas also had a brief stint as a visiting faculty member at the National Institute of Design in 2013, where they mentored final year product design students in system design. From 2014 to 2016, Vikas worked as an associate creative director at Moonraft Innovation Labs. Following that, they co-founded Trodly.com in 2016, a role they held until November 2020. From December 2020 to March 2022, Vikas served as a lead designer at Salesforce. Vikas then moved on to become the head of design first at Invact Metaversity from March 2022 to June 2022, and currently at Jar starting from June 2022.

Vikas Johiya attended the National Institute of Design from 2006 to 2011, pursuing a degree in Product Design. In 2010, they also took part in an Exchange Programme at The Glasgow School of Art, where they focused on Service Design.
