Lucas Gideon

Lucas Gideon has a diverse work experience starting from 2017. Lucas began their career as an Accounting Technician at the UNC Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research in August 2017. In June 2018, Lucas worked as a Student Investigative Analyst Intern at the Internal Revenue Service. Lucas then transitioned to being a Teaching Assistant at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from April 2018 to December 2018. Simultaneously, they worked as a Research Assistant at the UNC Department of Political Science from August 2018 to December 2018. In August 2020, Lucas joined KPMG as an Audit Associate and remained with the company until September 2021. Their latest position is as a Project Accountant at JBG SMITH, where they started in September 2021 and was promoted to Senior Project Accountant in January 2023.

Lucas Gideon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they attended from 2015 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2019 to 2020. Prior to their higher education, Lucas obtained a High School Diploma from Mainland Regional High School, where they completed their studies from 2011 to 2015.
