Early Childhood Certified Infant/toddler Teacher

JCC Greater Boston in Newton, MA, seeks a passionate and enthusiastic Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. Eligible for $1,000 sign-on bonus

This posting is for a full-time, salaried Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher. The starting salary for this position is $47,940-$53,040. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the scope of the position, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity. JCC Greater Boston also has openings for part-time Certified Infant/Toddler Teachers with multiple shift options. Responsibilities

• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and take risks
• Maintain full responsibility for the smooth running of the classroom environment
• In partnership with Early Learning Center Directors and peers, co-create a collaborative, dynamic, positive, and innovative classroom culture.
• Work in partnership with JCC leadership and other departments to support JCC Greater Boston organizational goals and model JCC values
• Partner and communicate with families to ensure the best care and education for the children
• Design and implement curriculum
• Complete observation and document assessments regarding children’s progress
• Adhere to all EEC regulations as well as NAEYC guidelines
