Raynetta Curry Marshall

COO at JEA

Raynetta Curry Marshall is currently the COO at JEA. Prior to this, they were the Director of Water/Wastewater Planning and Development at JEA. In this role, they were responsible for long-term planning of JEA's water supply, wastewater treatment and reclaimed water needs. This included managing the development of the Water Resources Master Plan, leading communications and coordination with neighboring counties and utilities, and overseeing JEA's development process for engineering and construction review, approval and oversight of new water, wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure.

Marshall has a long history of working in the water and wastewater industry. Raynetta began their career as an Engineer Trainee at the City of Jacksonville's Division of Public Works. Raynetta then worked as a Senior Engineer at the City of Jacksonville's Planning and Development Department before moving to JEA in 2011.

Marshall is a graduate of the University of Florida, where they earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Raynetta Curry Marshall has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Howard University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Howard University. Raynetta is also certified by the State of Florida as a Registered Professional Engineer.

Their manager is Jay Stowe, Managing Director & CEO. They work with Laura Marshall Schepis - Chief External Affairs Officer, Laura Dutton - Chief Strategy Officer, and David Emanuel - Chief Human Resource Officer.
