Scott Piehl

Scott Piehl currently serves as the Patient Access Director at Jennie Stuart Health since May 2023. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Patient Access Manager at R1 RCM from February 2015 to May 2023, and previously worked as a Financial Counselor at Saint Thomas Health from October 2014 to February 2015. Scott’s extensive experience in patient access management includes a tenure as Patient Access Manager at Saint Thomas Hospital from November 2006 to July 2013 and as Access Services Supervisor at HCA from November 2001 to November 2006. Early in Scott's career, experience as Customer Services Supervisor at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital spanned from July 1993 to November 2001. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern New Hampshire University, completed in 2019, and has participated in the National Association of Healthcare Access Managers from 2008 to 2012.
