Alison Carter Marlow

Executive Director, Boston at Jeremiah Program

Alison Carter Marlow is the current Executive Director of Boston at Jeremiah Program. Alison has over 25 years of experience in social services and community development. Alison began their career as a G.E.D. Instructor at Action for Boston Community Development in 1995 and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Director of the Department of Labor federal welfare to work programs in 1999 and eventually Director of Service Integration Department in 2011. In 2012, they were named Liaison to the President/CEO and held that position until 2013 when they left to become Director of Programs and Operations at YouthBuild Boston. At YouthBuild Boston, Alison was responsible for the design and delivery of high impact training and employment programs, grant acquisition and compliance, strategic planning, best practices and sustainability. In 2017, they crafted grant proposals that resulted in over $1M in public dollars for YouthBuild Boston. Alison is a dedicated social justice advocate with a passion for helping others reach their full potential.

Alison Carter Marlow began their educational career at Swarthmore College, where they earned a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Black Studies. Alison then went on to earn a Community Human Services Management degree from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, with a focus in Public Administration.

Their manager is Chastity Lord, President & CEO. Kimberly Thomas - Operations Manager, Jessie Elston - Family Coach, and Rachel Webb - Family Services Director report to Alison Carter Marlow. They work with Kristina Turner - Senior Director, Marketing & Storytelling, Rebecca Putzer - Director of Student Programming, and Heather Asp - Director of Talent Management.
