Sonya Chieves

Sonya Chieves is an experienced professional in social services and family support, currently serving as a Family Coach at the Jeremiah Program since January 2020. With a background in foster care, Sonya has been a Foster Parent for Olmsted County Minnesota since March 2012. Previous roles include Shelter Director at the Women's Shelter and Therapeutic Foster Care Coordinator at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, where responsibilities included recruiting and licensing foster families. Sonya also has administrative experience as a Clinic Administrator at Massage Envy and served as Unit Director for the Boys and Girls Clubs. Sonya Chieves holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry from Bethel University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
