Alain LeBlanc has extensive work experience in the construction and project management industry. Alain began their career in 2000 as a Temporary Assistant Resident Engineer for the Vermont Agency of Transportation, where they worked on various construction projects. From 2004 to 2017, LeBlanc served as a Project Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, responsible for overseeing projects in different sectors such as laboratories, airports, retail, and offices. During their time with the company, they also provided software training to colleagues and utilized various industry software programs.
In 2010, LeBlanc took on a role as an Independent Distributor for Shaklee Corporation, focusing on natural and "green" products. Since 2017, they have been working for Jewett Construction Co., initially as a Project Manager before being promoted to Senior Project Manager and then Director of Field Operations. In their current role as Vice President and Project Executive, LeBlanc is responsible for managing and overseeing projects across multiple markets, including retail, automotive dealerships, office renovations, historic restorations, timberframe barns, and aerospace labs. Alain also handles scheduling the company's in-house labor force.
LeBlanc has developed a wide range of skills and is proficient in various software programs, including On-Screen Takeoff, Prolog, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Bluebeam, Primavera P3 & P6, and Google Sketch-up.
Alain LeBlanc began their education at Lake Region Union High School, where they completed the High School/Secondary Diploma Programs from 1996 to 2000. After graduating from high school, Alain attended Saint Michael's College from 2000 to 2002. Alain then transferred to Vermont Technical College and obtained an Associate's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.
In addition to their formal education, Alain has also acquired several certifications. In 2015, they obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from the USGBC Massachusetts Chapter. In 2016, they received the OSHA 30 certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute. Alain further expanded their certifications by obtaining the Silica in Construction 1926.1153 certification from Contractors Risk Mgmt in 2018. In 2019, they obtained the CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the National Safety Council. Lastly, in 2020, Alain received the Confined Space Entry in Construction certification from Contractors Risk Mgmt.
