Kara H. Chun has over seven years of work experience in the design and marketing field. Kara H. began their career in 2014 as an Advertising and Design Intern at Replain. In 2016, they were an Intern at Vann Alexandra. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Penske Media Corporation as a Junior Graphic Designer. During their time there, they took the lead role in designing advertorials and In-House Advertisement for WWD, Footwear News, Beauty Inc, and Sourcing Journal both in digital and print. Kara H. was also responsible for developing and executing original design concepts and overseeing multiple design and production projects simultaneously. In 2019, they worked as a Graphic Designer and Junior Graphic Designer at Mod Op. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Designer II, Marketing at Rokt. During their time there, they led the Rokt brand refresh project, created multi-media brand marketing materials, developed design creatives for all marketing efforts, led projects from concept to completion, optimized design for marketing performance, and led company-wide brand refresh training sessions.

Kara H. Chun completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design at Pratt Institute from 2013 to 2017. From 2012 to 2013, they attended Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages. Prior to that, they attended Fontbonne Academy from 2009 to 2011. In 2020, they earned a UX design career track certificate from Springboard. Additionally, they have obtained a Mastering Design Thinking certification from Emeritus in March 2022, a UX Design: 3 Creating Personas certification from LinkedIn in March 2020, a Learning Design Research certification from LinkedIn in February 2020, and a JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) - N3 certification from The Japan Foundation.
