Yuval Varkel

Yuval Varkel has a strong background in software engineering and management roles. Yuval started their career as a Software Developer in the Israel Defense Forces from 2006 to 2011.

In 2013, they joined Jive Software as a Software Engineer, where they developed Jive's Box Integration and External Storage Framework. Yuval then progressed to becoming an Engineering Manager, leading a team of 4-6 backend and web engineers and developing Jive Daily, a new strategic product.

From 2015 to 2016, Yuval was promoted to a Senior Engineering Manager role, responsible for the backends of Jive's new strategic products, including Jive Chime and Jive Daily.

Finally, in 2016, they became a Director Of Engineering at Jive Software, managing 4 teams and being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of microservices in Jive's next generation products, deployed in AWS.

Yuval Varkel pursued their education from 2006 to 2012 at The Open University of Israel, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science. In the same year 2006, they also attended the Mamram Programming Course. Additionally, they obtained the MCSD certification from Microsoft, although the specific month and year of attainment are not provided.
