Olav Knudsen

Olav Knudsen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Olav started their career at Aalborg Industries as the Head of R&D, where they developed new technologies for exhaust gas cleaning to reduce ship emissions. Olav also served as the General Manager of the order execution departments and later as the General Manager in the marine division.

Later, Knudsen worked at Alfa Laval as the Head of R&D for Exhaust Gas Cleaning, leading the R&D function and business development in this emerging market. Olav then joined Wärtsilä Svanehøj as Head of R&D, focusing on the development of new pump systems for the marine and offshore markets.

Afterwards, Knudsen joined CIMBRIA as the Head of R&D, where they played a significant role in creating and implementing R&D structures and processes. Olav'sresponsibilities included overseeing new product development.

Currently, Knudsen holds the position of VP Engineering at JKF Industria A/S, where they are a member of the management team responsible for product engineering, including R&D and Engineer to Order. Olav also oversees JKF's range of products.

Olav Knudsen received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering Thermal from Aalborg University in the year 1985. Olav further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a B.Sc. Comm. Degree Mark (HD(A)) between 1986 and 1990. Later, from 2001 to 2003, Olav Knudsen attended Aalborg University again and completed an eMBA with a focus on Management of Technology.
