Douglas Clary

Douglas Clary has extensive work experience in the field of wireless technology and telecommunications. Douglas is currently the Director of System & Application Engineering at JMA Wireless, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Bird Technologies as the Director of Application Engineering & Professional Services from 2016 to 2019.

From 2002 to 2015, Clary worked at TE Connectivity, where they held the role of Director of Application Engineering & Professional Services. During this time, they directed the profitable Wireless Network Engineering group with a global reach. Douglas was responsible for various activities, including quoting, managing construction projects, trade-labor contracts, annual budgets, and ensuring profitable growth.

Before joining TE Connectivity, Clary worked at Professional Communication Management as the Director of Wireless Technology in 2001, and at Cypress Communications as the Director of Project Management from 1999 to 2001. At Cypress Communications, they played a crucial role in expanding the corporate portfolio for a quick IPO and managed trade labor contracts for various installations.

Clary's work experience also includes being the Director of Operations / Senior Systems Engineer at Preferred Networks Inc from 1995 to 1999, where they directed telecommunication network designs and oversaw system build-outs across the U.S. for an IPO. Douglas started their career as an RF Engineer at Page One / CobbWells Inc in 1994 and served as a USMC Air Traffic Control Communications Technician in the United States Marine Corps from 1987 to 1993.

Douglas Clary completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Colorado State University. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, which they completed in 2018.
