Flavio Piccinelli

Senior Software Engineer at JMA Wireless

Flavio Piccinelli has a diverse work experience in software engineering and system design. Flavio started their career as a Software Engineer at CERN in 2014, where they gained foundational skills in software development. In 2016, they joined Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, where they worked as a Research Fellow and later as a Software Engineer. In this role, they focused on developing server applications and web applications for data collection and display related to air quality. In 2019, Flavio joined JMA Wireless as a System and Software Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing applications to monitor systems in the field and managing the OpenShift infrastructure. In their current position as a Senior Software Engineer at JMA Wireless, Flavio's main focus is on containerizing LTE applications and designing a monitoring system based on the Prometheus/Grafana stack.

Flavio Piccinelli obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2008 to 2012. Flavio subsequently pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution from 2012 to 2015.
