Gina Bartleson is a Research Scientist at JMI Laboratories since January 2020 and currently serves as the Iowa State Coordinator for Pollinator Partnership from February 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Research Associate at The University of Iowa, focusing on the genetic causes of sudden cardiac death, and at NorthShore University HealthSystem, where research concentrated on fetal growth and placental lipid metabolism. Additional roles include Research Technologist at the University of Chicago, assisting with Alzheimer’s research, a Graduate Assistant at the University of Memphis with a focus on the Florida Scrub-Jay, and a Student Research Assistant at the University of Iowa in metabolic disorders. Gina Bartleson holds a Master of Science in Biology and has contributed to multiple publications, including co-authoring three papers and thirteen abstracts.
