Neda Mohammadian

Neda Mohammadian is a highly skilled metallurgical engineer with extensive experience in materials engineering and research. Currently serving as a Senior Metallurgical Engineer at Joby Aviation since August 2023, Neda has previously held roles as a Research Scientist at PyroGenesis Canada, where responsibilities included advanced plasma systems development and nanotechnology for Li-ion batteries. Neda's background encompasses significant expertise in additive manufacturing and surface treatment methods, demonstrated through positions at École de technologie supérieure, where work involved laser powder bed fusion and materials characterization. With a solid foundation in mechanical and materials engineering, earned through master's degrees from Polytechnique Montréal and K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Neda also has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Metallurgy Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
