Ruxiu Zhao

Ruxiu Zhao has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. In 2013, they started their career as an Intern Engineer in the Advanced Control Group at Ford Motor Company. In 2016, they interned at Faraday Future as an Engineer in the Battery Algorithm Group. In 2017, they worked as a BMS Intern Engineer in the Architecture & Control Team at SF Motors Inc. From 2012 to 2018, Ruxiu served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC) while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They then joined SERES EV in 2019 as a Sr. Powertrain Control Engineer in the Architecture & Control Team, and later joined Joby Aviation in 2020 as a BMS Algorithm Engineer.

Ruxiu Zhao's education history begins in 2008 when they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics & Mathematics in 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Ruxiu Zhao continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering in the years 2015 to 2018.
