Ellie Cowan

Ellie Cowan is an experienced marketing and communication professional currently serving as Communication Lead for the Student Project Team at johnnie-O since January 2024, where Ellie participates in a competitive Capstone course. As Chief Marketing Officer at Heelprint Communications since October 2022, Ellie oversees marketing operations and social media initiatives, while also designing promotional materials. Previous roles include Media Intern for the Wyndham Championship, Social Media and Marketing Volunteer at WCOM Community Radio, and Marketing Intern at Greensboro Sports Foundation. Ellie has also gained experience in social media management through positions with Coulture Magazine and 3D Women, as well as in organizing activities as a Summer Camp Counselor at Kieve Wavus Education. An Advertising and Public Relations major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ellie also completed a study abroad program in Global Sports Marketing and Intercultural Communication in Italy.
