Janet Rathod

Janet Rathod currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Johns Hopkins University and Medicine, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Janet Rathod was the Global Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Citi from June 2021 to September 2024, and served as Senior Director of Cyber Operations & Intelligence at Capital One from October 2018 to June 2021. Janet Rathod’s extensive experience in cybersecurity began at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where roles included Senior Executive Service and leadership in counterintelligence and cyber operations from November 2002 to October 2018. Janet Rathod holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Nebraska Wesleyan University, with additional academic accomplishments at several universities.
