Christian Neal

Christian Neal is a seasoned psychiatrist and academic with extensive experience in various roles within the field of mental health. Currently serving as adjunct faculty at the University of Lynchburg, Christian also holds the position of founder and managing member at Tabula Rasa Psychiatry and Consulting, PLLC. In addition, Christian works as a collaborating psychiatrist at Central Virginia Health Services, Inc. and as a staff psychiatrist/director of psychiatry at Johnson Health Center. Previous experience includes psychiatrist roles at Centra Health and Carilion Clinic, as well as academic positions at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Christian holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College and has pursued advanced training in psychoanalysis through the International Psychotherapy Institute and the Contemporary Freudian Society.
