Gary Rowley

Chief Of Staff at Joint Enabling Capabilities Command

Gary Rowley has a diverse work experience in various roles within the US Army. Gary began their career as Commander of the 188th Brigade Support Battalion from 2013 to 2015. Gary then served as Assistant Chief of Staff, G5 Plans for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command from 2015 to 2016. Gary joined the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command in 2017 as Chief, Sustainment Directorate, where they managed a team of joint sustainment officers and NCOs and facilitated relationships with other staff directorates. In 2019, they transitioned to the US Army Mission Command Training Program as a Senior Observer Coach/Trainer, focusing on enhancing sustainment realism in large-scale combat. Gary currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command.

Gary Rowley received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Gary later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategy and Joint Campaign Planning from the Joint Forces Staff College, National Defense University, attending from 2016 to 2017.
