Jesse Jorgenson

Jesse Jorgenson began their work experience in 2013 as an Associate Support Analyst at Thunderhead.com, where they resolved technical issues for customers. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer at FICO, before working as a Web Application Engineer at TicketCity in 2015. At TicketCity, Jesse built web applications using Reactjs and Node, and utilized Docker and AWS for software architecture and deployment. In 2016, they joined Verb Inc. as a Software Developer, where they primarily worked with React, Redux, Node.js, and MongoDB. They also maintained a PHP legacy platform with a MySQL database. In 2017, Jesse worked at HaulHound as a Senior Developer, where they migrated the backend to AWS and built a new UI in React and Redux. They then co-founded BuyerNeeds in 2017 and led the technical work, focusing on both frontend and backend engineering using React, Redux, Node.js, and AWS. In 2018, Jesse joined Evernote as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead, where they worked on the Note Editor/Note Viewer. Their responsibilities included frontend and backend engineering using various technologies. Lastly, Jesse is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Jointly, starting in 2023.

Jesse Jorgenson pursued and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from James Madison University between the years 2011 and 2013.
