Thomas Hildesheim has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Thomas is currently working as a Software Engineering Team Lead at Jointly since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Staff Software Developer at Sidecar Health from November 2021 to January 2022.

From October 2020 to October 2021, Thomas worked as a Software Development Team Lead at Campspot, where they managed a team of seven developers and aligned with the strategic goals of the Enterprise client. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Developer, from March 2019 to October 2020, responsible for optimizing the performance of large accounting reports and implementing ETL solutions at Campspot.

From May 2016 to March 2019, Thomas worked as a Software Developer at Zen Planner, where they led the transformation of legacy code to a modern Java Spring Boot microservice codebase. Thomas also mentored developers and implemented a culture of code review and pair programming.

Before Zen Planner, Thomas was employed at BIT Systems from June 2013 to April 2016. Initially, they worked as a Web Developer, contributing to the development of a multi-tool web application suite. Later, as a Software Developer, Thomas led the development of a real-time web application and collaborated with DSP experts for integration.

Thomas also gained experience as an intern in Internal Research & Development at BIT Systems from May 2012 to August 2012. During this time, they implemented a mobile telemetry solution and developed dissectors for easy interpretation of protocols used in the solution.

Thomas Hildesheim completed their education from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Thomas then pursued further education from 2016 to 2017, obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Penn State University. In addition to their formal education, Thomas also obtained a certification in Security+ from CompTIA in October 2014.
