Jozef Stefan Institute
Uros Petrovic is a Full Professor at the University of Ljubljana's Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Biology, since January 2016, focusing on teaching and research. In addition to this role, Uros has been a Principal Investigator at the Jozef Stefan Institute since July 2002. Uros also served as a Member of the Council at COBIK from July 2014 to May 2018. Previous research experiences include visiting researcher positions at the University of Toronto's CCBR (2010-2011), the University of Graz (August 2006), and UCSF (2002-2003). Uros began academic training as a PhD student at the University of Ljubljana's Medical Faculty from 1997 to 2001, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Ljubljana, awarded in 2001.
