Ovidiu Roatis

Ovidiu Roatis has extensive experience in technology and engineering leadership, currently serving as VP, Tech Lead at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since November 2018. Prior to this role, Ovidiu was the Founder and CTO of BestShot Smart Tennis, focusing on real-time smart tennis coaching from September 2016 to August 2022. Ovidiu held various significant positions at The Clorox Company, including Associate Director for Engineering and Sr. Group Manager for Web Development, from December 2013 to October 2018. Founding HOVLR, Ovidiu contributed to product and mobile development as Chief Commuter Officer from May 2013 to July 2018. Ovidiu's career also includes managerial roles at Benefit Cosmetics, SVP, Director of Technology at Velocidi, and Vice President, Technical Director at Edelman Digital, among other positions in journalism and media. Educational credentials include degrees in Computer Science, Journalism, and Mass Communication from leading universities, including the University of Bucharest and the University of Louisiana Monroe.
