Alan Bennett

Alan Bennett has over 10 years of work experience. Alan started their career in 1999 as a Telecommunications Engineer at Voicepath Limited, where they were responsible for installing Cat5e, Fiber Optics and telephone systems. In 2005, they took on an Outreach Support role at Cornwall College. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Software Developer at Tiger 24, where they were responsible for designing and implementing the web infrastructure. In 2010, they took on a Junior Software Developer role at Microtest. In 2011, they completed a University Placement Year as a Junior Software Developer at XMOS, where they designed and implemented a record management system using PHP and Javascript. In 2013, they started working as a Senior Software Developer / Devops at Vualto. In 2017, they became a Co-Founder at Optimised Labs. In 2018, they took on a Senior Ruby Developer Contractor role at BookingBug. Finally, in 2019, they began working at JRNI as a Director Of Engineering, Head of Platform, Backend Lead Developer, and Senior Software Developer.

Alan Bennett attended the University of Plymouth from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bsc in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Newquay Treviglas from 1993 to 1998. No additional certifications have been listed.
