Mzwandile Riba

Mzwandile Riba has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mzwandile currently holds the position of Head: Pricing Solutions at the JSE, where they lead the Valuations and Indices teams. Prior to this, they were the Head: Data Solutions at the JSE from November 2018 to March 2022.

Before joining the JSE, Mzwandile worked at Shotha Holdings (Pty) Ltd as a Commercial Director. In this role, they focused on expanding the company's client base and managing their liquidity management processes. Mzwandile held this position from February 2016 to October 2018.

Mzwandile also has experience in the financial sector, specifically in equity derivatives. Mzwandile worked at BNP Paribas Cadiz Securities as the Head: Equity Derivatives Flow Sales, where they fostered relationships between the head offices in London, Paris, and South Africa. Mzwandile also served as an Equity Derivatives Sales Trader during their time at the company. Mzwandile'stenure at BNP Paribas Cadiz Securities was from April 2010 to October 2014.

Early in their career, Mzwandile worked at Liberty Life Insurance Public Company Ltd as an Asset Liability Manager from March 2009 to March 2010. Mzwandile started their professional journey at Liberty Life as an Actuarial Graduate from December 2006 to February 2009.

Mzwandile Riba attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a BSc degree with Honours in Actuarial Science.
