Julian Leland Bell

Julian Leland Bell is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and R&D across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at JTEC Energy, Inc., Julian is a core team member focused on developing an innovative hydrogen-based heat pump technology. Prior to this role, Julian worked at UPS as a Principal Investigator for the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory, leading efforts in robotics and sensor technologies. Experience also includes a pivotal role at Desktop Metal as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to the development of advanced metal additive manufacturing platforms. Julian's earlier positions included research and development roles at MIT Media Lab and Barrett Technology, alongside business development at OptaSense Ltd. Julian holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Public Policy from Swarthmore College.
