Carina Martins completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in the year 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Tourism from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, graduating between the years 2000 and 2005.

Furthermore, Carina has obtained several certifications. In May 2019, they achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In August 2019, they obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the same institution. In October 2019, Carina received the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner Certification from PeopleCert. Carina acquired the PRINCE2 Agile® Project Management Certification in December 2019 and became an Experienced Lean Practitioner, obtaining the LCS Level 2B Certification from the Lean Competency System in February 2020.
