Nina Xue, PHR, SHRM-CP

Nina Xue, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in Human Resources and People Operations. Nina began their career in 2015 as an Education Consultant for Apolish. Nina then worked as a Human Resources and Business Intern for Living Full Out in 2016. In 2017, they were a Human Resources Intern for NOAH HOLDINGS and Ascend Public Charter Schools. Nina was also a Campus Editor for LinkedIn in 2017. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Whittle School & Studios as a Global HR Generalist and Global HR Business Partner. In 2020, they were a People Operations Manager + Recruitment Lead for Vivvi. Currently, they are the Head of People for Jumbo: Privacy + Security. As part of their roles, they have implemented Greenhouse ATS, increased headcount from 22 to 32 within six months, created and instituted scalable processes around onboarding, offboarding, and employee experience, developed and rolled out a companywide 1:1 structure, and managed talent sourcer and external recruiters. Nina is also a CRLA Certified Chinese Tutor and has mentored 20+ international middle, high school, and college students.

Nina Xue holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and East Asian Languages & Culture from Smith College, which they obtained in 2018 after four years of study from 2014 to 2018. Nina also attended Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2017. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In 2020, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI and the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. In the same year, they also obtained the Become a Technical Recruiter certification from LinkedIn. In 2018, they obtained the International Tutor Training Program Certification from the College Reading & Learning Association. Finally, in 2020, they obtained the HR as a Business Partner certification from LinkedIn.
