Sheldon Rucker

Sheldon Rucker has over 14 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2021, they worked as an AOSP Engineer for June (Acquired by Weber, Inc.). Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Rosen Aviation from 2011-2021, where they developed embedded software for in flight entertainment systems. Sheldon wrote applications and tools in C, C++, Java, C#, Python, and Bash, and designed and implemented the architecture for Android based display systems. Sheldon also ported I. MX6 processor Android board support packages to custom circuit boards and wrote Linux drivers to support playback of HDMI and SDI video sources. From 2007-2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at Honeywell International.

Sheldon Rucker obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington between 2005 and 2007, with a focus on Controls and DSP.
