Matt Ferrante

Matt Ferrante has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Matt is currently working at Jungle Scout as a Tech Lead and Staff Software Engineer, where they oversee the development and management of the Downstream Impact product. Prior to this, they worked at Downstream as a Software Development Engineer, leading the development of features, infrastructure, and automation processes. Before that, they were the VP of Engineering at Traverse Data, Inc., where they led software engineering efforts and made architectural decisions. Matt also worked at DataXu as an Automation Lead, leading a team dedicated to automated builds, tests, and deployments. Matt has experience as the Chief Technical Officer at Social Logic Inc., where they co-founded and supported a social planning website. Furthermore, Matt has worked as a Freestyle Ski Coach at Loon Mountain Freestyle Team and as a Software Engineer in Quality and Automation at EMC. Matt also worked as a Web Developer at Brandthropology and as a Computer Science Teacher's Assistant at the University of Vermont. Matt started their career as a Cook at Ground Round Restaurant.

Matt Ferrante obtained their High School Diploma from Central Catholic High School in 2007. Matt then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2007 to 2008. Later, they attended the University of Vermont from 2008 to 2010 and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
