Cynthia Foster

Cynthia Foster currently serves as a Board Member for Ruth Bancroft Garden since October 2023. Following a career culminating in retirement in March 2022, Cynthia held the position of Executive Director at Hillsborough Schools Foundation from June 2011 to March 2022 and previously worked as Visitor Services Manager at Filoli from October 2006 to June 2011, where responsibilities included managing visitor services and coordinating a large volunteer staff. Additionally, Cynthia has been a Community Volunteer with the Junior League of San Francisco, Inc. since January 1996 and an Inventory Control Manager at Title Nine Sports from July 2002 to October 2006. Cynthia earned a BA in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California, Davis, between 1975 and 1979.
