Andrew Buchanan

Andrew Buchanan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Justworks since January 2023, Andrew previously held significant positions at Thoughtworks, where responsibilities included coaching executives on aligning development with business objectives and implementing Lean Enterprise practices. At Hibu, Andrew successfully built a technology organization responsible for consumer-facing properties, while earlier roles included CIO/CTO at VertMarkets and CEO/CTO at Prometheus Information Corporation, where Andrew founded a thriving early Internet start-up. Andrew's career also includes foundational work at Lockheed Martin and Ancier Technologies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
