Bram Avontuur

Bram Avontuur has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bram started their career at ilse media as a System Engineer in 2000 and worked there until 2005. Bram then joined Heliotrope in 2005 as a Sr Systems Engineer, where they focused on proof-of-concept technology for article and website categorization using Information Retrieval technologies. In 2007, Bram joined Bits on the Run as a Sr Backend Engineer and worked there until 2010. Bram then joined JW Player, where they held various roles, including Sr Backend Engineer from 2010 to 2018, Staff Engineer from 2019 to 2021, and currently works as a Principal Software Engineer.

Bram Avontuur attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication Technology.
