Ellen Bird

Ellen Bird has extensive experience in the food industry, beginning with a role as a Quality Assurance Technologist at Goodman Fielder - Meadowlea Foods from April 2001 to September 2001. Ellen progressed to various positions, including Process Development Technologist at Goodman Fielder, Process Technologist at Heinz Frozen & Chilled Foods, and Senior Development Technologist at Frucor Beverages and PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand. Key achievements include leading innovation projects, such as the launch of Doritos in New Zealand. Ellen served as Applications Group Manager at Nestlé for multiple divisions, focusing on new product development and nutritional reformulation. Currently, Ellen is the Director at Food Tech Group Limited, providing specialist food safety and regulatory compliance support, and also works as a Food Regulatory & Compliance Consultant at K10X. Ellen holds a BE(Hons) in Food Engineering from Massey University, earned from 1997 to 2000.
