Christina Porter

Christina Porter has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Christina began their career at Baxter Healthcare as a Quality Associate, where they gained experience in writing and editing various documents and maintaining Sharepoint sites. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Inkstone Communications as a Website Manager and Copywriter, where they were responsible for writing and editing marketing collateral and maintaining client websites. At Northern Illinois University, from 2014 to 2015, they served as a Graduate Assistant, assisting in technical writing and website development using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Controle, specializing in the development of eDiscovery software using .Net Framework, as well as utilizing C#, XAML, SQL, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and Knockout JS. Later, from 2017 to 2022, they joined Crowe as a Senior Software Developer, contributing as a full stack developer using Microsoft technology to develop and support tax software for large organizations. Christina also acted as the Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at K1X, Inc. starting from 2023, where their current responsibilities and tenure are ongoing.

Christina Porter completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University, with studies spanning from 2012 to 2014.
