Kirsten Qvist Isak has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2008 and 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at NERI, Kalø and the University of Aarhus, conducting projects related to landscape management and biodiversity research. Kirsten Qvist later joined NIRAS in 2009 as a Cand.scient. Landscape Management, where they worked as an Environmental and Consent Manager for offshore wind farm projects in the UK and as a Project Manager for hydro power station projects in Greenland. From 2018 to 2021, Kirsten worked at K2 Management as a Senior Consultant, before transitioning to the role of Senior Project Manager at Energinet from 2021 to 2022. In 2023, they joined COWI as a Leading Project Manager and Owners Engineer, and then returned to K2 Management as a Senior Consultant in the same year.
Kirsten Qvist Isak's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Management from Copenhagen University's Faculty of Life Sciences, which they pursued from 2005 to 2008.
