Hamish Henderson, GISP has a diverse work experience in the field of GIS. Hamish started their career as a Wilderness Monitor for the U.S. Forest Service in 2015. From 2016, they worked as a GIS Intern at the City of Aspen and also as a Student Assistant at Esri User Conference. In 2017, they became a GIS Analyst at the City of Aspen. Later, in 2018, they worked as a GIS Intern at the San Bernardino County Museum. In 2019, they joined Insight Global as a GIS Technician, working for PG&E. Currently, they are working at Kaart as a GIS Project Manager, previously having held roles as a GIS Technician and GIS Technician 2.
Hamish Henderson, GISP, holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Saint Peter's University, which was earned between 2022 and 2023. In 2018, they obtained a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems (MSGIS) from the University of Redlands. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Fort Lewis College, which they completed between the years 2012 and 2016.
