SeongUk Han

SeongUk Han has a strong background in software engineering and deep learning. SeongUk is currently working as a Research Engineer at kakaobrain, starting in April 2020. Prior to that, they were a Deep Learning Engineer at VoyagerX from March 2018 to September 2019. In this role, they conducted research on deep learning models for generating Korean fonts and filters for night photographs, and also managed projects. SeongUk Han worked at Kakao Corp as a Software Engineer from January 2015 to March 2018. SeongUk was responsible for software development during this time. Before that, they co-founded Friberry in August 2012 and worked as a Developer and co-founder until July 2014. In this role, they developed and maintained a mobile commerce app, HotPick, and also led the development team. SeongUk Han began their career as a PC Game Client Developer at Com2uS, where they worked from April 2009 to June 2011.

SeongUk Han attended the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 2006 to 2012. SeongUk obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science with summa cum laude honors.
