Brandon Follick

Brandon Follick is a research associate at Kallyope. Brandon previously worked as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School, where they studied the role of the mitochondrial regulatory protein Sirtuin 4 in cellular metabolism and its involvement to intestinal tumor development. Brandon also provided administrative assistance by keeping record of the experimental mouse colonies.

Brandon's administrative responsibilities included working with the Lab Manager to order common lab equipment and office supplies weekly, handling incoming packages and deliveries, and managing the lab's animal protocol that permits the lab's researchers to carry out ethical experimentation.

Brandon has also worked as a research scholar at Lehigh Valley Health Network and as an undergraduate research assistant at Penn State University. Brandon was also a biology laboratory teaching assistant and a new student orientation scheduling assistant at Penn State University.

Brandon Follick received their Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in Biology (Genetics and Development), Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Bioethics & Medical Humanities. Brandon also did a certification from NIH Research in Introduction to the Responsible Conduct of Research. Brandon also did a certification from Lehigh Valley Health Network in Completion of Research Scholar Program. Lastly, they did certifications from Penn State Environmental Health and Safety in Chemical Safety Training and Laser Fundamentals and Safety.
