Toby Sears

Toby Sears has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on DevOps, automation, and infrastructure. Toby is currently working as a Technical Lead SRE / Engineering Services DevOps Expert at Kambi since February 2021. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and Consultant at KROBIER AB, a company specializing in providing top-tier engineers with a background in DevOps and automation. Toby co-founded ParkMe24, where they were responsible for creating the entire AWS infrastructure from scratch and developing multiple APIs and mobile applications. Toby has also held Engineering Manager positions at Klarna, INVIDI Technologies, and Ooyala, where they led teams and played a key role in providing scalable and resilient infrastructure. Toby has expertise in Linux systems administration, virtualization, configuration management, monitoring, CDN, and hardware management. In the early stages of their career, Toby worked as a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer at Videoplaza, a Systems Engineer at iomart Hosting, and an IT Consultant at LuduServe LTD. Toby also had managerial roles at RapidSwitch, where they were responsible for services management, support management, and overseeing data center migration.

Toby Sears attended Cardigan Secondary School from 1995 to 2000, where they completed high school. Toby then went on to study at Pembrokeshire College from 2000 to 2002, earning a National Diploma in Computing and Design.
