Laura Lombard

Laura Lombard serves as the Director of the International Division at the Kansas Department of Commerce since September 2023, focusing on international economic development and export growth for Kansas. With extensive experience in consulting, Laura Lombard previously held leadership roles at Kansas Global Trade Services, Inc. as President and CEO, and as an independent consultant, providing strategic guidance to various organizations. Additionally, experience includes teaching as an adjunct professor at Friends University and previous positions such as Development Director at the Clean Energy Business Council and Executive Director of the Middle East & North Africa Consultants Association. Laura Lombard holds a Master's degree in International Studies and Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies from The University of Kansas.
