Jeff Olsson

Jeff Olsson has over 25 years of experience in software development and IT operations. Jeff worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kanso Software (HDS Doorways) since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at ZOLL Medical Corporation from 2020 to 2022 and at ZOLL Data Systems from 2018 to 2020. Jeff also served as the CTO/Lead Developer at ECT Technologies LLC from 2000 to 2017, where they oversaw all software development and IT operations and specialized in web and mobile technologies. Jeff started their career as a Developer at AT&T Local Services in 1998 and at Northfield Trading LLC in 1997. Jeff also worked at Morgan Stanley as a Controller/Developer from 1995 to 1997, where they automated reconciliation processes and created analytical reporting.

Jeff Olsson received their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Rutgers University, where they attended from 1985 to 1987. Prior to their time at Rutgers, they attended Hamilton College from 1981 to 1984, but did not obtain a degree. Jeff completed their secondary education at Princeton Day School from 1977 to 1981.

In addition to their formal education, Jeff Olsson has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they earned certifications in Agile Development Practices, C#: Delegates, Events and Lambdas, Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design, Visual Studio Essential Training: 09 Unit Tests, and Learning Secure Sockets Layer from Lynda.com. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Responsive CSS Workflow with Sass, Bourbon, and Susy from Lynda.com. In 2015, they earned certifications in jQuery Mobile Essential Training, Learning Backbone.js, Visualforce for Developers, CompTIA Network+ (N10-006) Cert Prep: 1 Understanding Networks, CompTIA Network+ (N10-006) Cert Prep: 3 The World of TCP/IP, and HTML5: File API from Lynda.com. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification and the MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft.
