Jaakko Rauhala

Jaakko Rauhala has an extensive work experience in various industries. In 2020, they became the Co-founder and CEO of Kapacity.io (YC S21). In 2019, they were a Business Developer at Carbo Culture, a California based startup. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Analyst at Pöyry Management Consulting, where they were the lead analyst in a project that evaluated the effects of banning coal for energy use. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head of Startup Operations and Head of Speakers at Slush. In 2015, they were a Summer Trainee at Helen District Heating Unit. In 2014, they were a Maintenance Worker at Fortum. From 2013 to 2014, they were the President of the Guild of Mechanical Engineers (Koneinsinöörikilta ry).

Jaakko Rauhala completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University from 2011 to 2016. Jaakko then went on to pursue a Master of Science (Tech.) in Energy Technology from Aalto University from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are enrolled in Y Combinator.
