Kitty Luo

Kitty Luo has over 20 years of work experience in various technology roles. Kitty began their career at TD Securities as a Database Administrator before moving on to the Toronto Transit Commission as an Oracle DBA. Kitty then joined ONLANE INC as the Manager of Database and Reporting Services and later worked at OPENLANE as the Director of Data Services for six years. In 2014, they joined KAR Global as the Vice President of Software Engineering and Data Services. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of KAR Global's digital marketplace and transforming the engineering team into a global software delivery organization. Kitty also oversaw the technology platform for one of the largest online vehicle re-marketing suites in North America.

Kitty Luo completed their Master's degree in Engineering from Wuhan University from 1985 to 1988. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from KU Leuven and successfully attained it from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their academic education, Kitty Luo has obtained a certification as a SAFe 4 Certified Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
