Kartik Jain has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kartik is currently a Co-Founder at Karbon Card, which they co-founded in December 2019. Prior to that, they were also a Co-Founder at GoRupee from August 2018 to December 2019, and an Operations Manager there.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Kartik worked at Dell as a Product Marketing professional from July 2017 to June 2018. Kartik was responsible for conceptualizing and designing a Marketing Plan for the Media and Entertainment industry and strategizing the Go-To-Market strategy for Enterprise customers. Kartik also identified use cases in different industries to support the sales team.

Kartik gained consulting experience as a Management Practicum Consultant at Aimia Inc from August 2017 to December 2017, before joining LimeTray as a Product Marketing Manager from June 2015 to June 2016. At LimeTray, they led a team and handled product adoption across cities. Kartik successfully launched six products/revenue streams, generating revenue worth USD 150K in seven months.

Kartik began their career as a Software Engineer at Schneider Electric in July 2012. Kartik was responsible for gathering requirements, developing a plant optimization software, and was recognized with the "Most Promising New Comer" award. Kartik also served as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Schneider Electric from July 2012 to December 2012. Before that, they interned at Schneider Electric from January 2012 to May 2012.

Kartik Jain completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2018 at the National University of Singapore. In 2017, they also pursued an MBA program at Korea University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, in 2016, they studied at Fudan University, where they attained another Master of Business Administration degree. Earlier, from 2008 to 2011, Kartik completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they finished their 12th grade education in the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) stream from St. Columba's School in 2008.
