Ashish Patil

Ashish Patil, MS, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Ashish currently serves as the Head of IT for Karma Automotive, where they are responsible for overseeing all IT strategies.

Prior to their current role, Ashish worked as the Head of IT and Senior Director of Information Technology at Nihon Kohden America. In this position, they oversaw IT operations, cybersecurity, and personnel for the global organization. Additionally, they held the role of Certified Chief Information Security Officer.

Before joining Nihon Kohden America, Ashish served as the Director of IT at United Auto Credit Corporation, where they directed the Data Services, BI/Analytics, Information Systems, and Operations departments. Ashish played a key role in developing enterprise data strategies and implementing new technologies to improve business operations.

Ashish also has experience as a Technology Leader at Valuebyte Corporation, where they worked on the development of cloud-based IOT wireless solutions. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at WD, a Western Digital company, where they were responsible for initiatives in product management, enterprise software development, and engineering and manufacturing operations.

Early in their career, Ashish gained experience as an Engineer and Software Developer at Prosoft Corporation. During this time, they worked as a subject matter expert in Microsoft technologies and tested early versions of Internet browsers.

Overall, Ashish Patil has a strong background in IT leadership, strategy implementation, and cross-functional team management, along with expertise in cybersecurity and product development.

Ashish Patil earned an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business in 2011, specializing in Business. Additionally, they completed an MS in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach. Ashish has also obtained the Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) certification from EC-Council in 2020. Furthermore, Ashish received PMP Prep Training from Learning Tree International.
